Today, a new video about José Padilha's Robocop ha been releasead, and there we have the crew talking about the concept design and ideas of the new movie. The best thing maybe is that we can finally see the pre-version of Robo's armor that resembles a lot the classic version.
It's cool that here we can se how he's going to look in the movie. Notice that the arms and the legs are completelly mechanic and also we can see through his body wich seens to be really made of several parts of machinery, like he's is a real robot.
Here we see more details of his arms mechanic joints, it seens not much of what we see on the casual pics will be left after the effects.
It seens we'll see much of his mechanic insides.
Robo test in Omnicorps laboratory.
It seens the black one will really be the final version.
The product self-delicery to the client.
A more detailed look at Ed-209, looking like a military vehicle.
After seeing this, it kinda make sense that they really may need more time to work on this movie, specially in the post production, can you imagine to take every scene of Robo and make all the CGI robotic elements, and I was thinkig those where only some little lights here and there...
Padilha said that much of the movie is about the very construction of the cyborg and the transformation of the man in the machine against his will.
I really want to see it combined with Padilha's action experience.
