Aeon Flux is an animated series broadcasted by Liquid Television on MTV in 1991 and is still today one of my favorites animated series.
Peter Chung's creation is bold in many ways, Aeon doesn't have a mission, she doesn't want to save anyone or "free" the world, she just want to get her little game with Trevor Goodchild to the edge, to tease and provoke those around her. The cartoon has this quality to defy your moral conceptions about the world.
I know that there was a comic book series created for the movie, i really wish i have the chance to draw this character.

Does remembering Liquid Television make us old? Movie wasn't half bad either.

It's refreshing to see this after so long.

In an interview from one of the DVDs of Aeon Flux, Chung said that he created Aeon to be able to physically do almost anything because he was tired of animating babies (for Rugrats).

Yeah, I saw it, he worked on Rugrats. Can't wait dor him to release it on Blu-ray, Aeon is a very rare type of cartoon.

I feel the original shorts were more successful in his original vision though. Particularly the "war" shorts.

i remember aeon on liquid tv in the UK in 1991, and still love it today. its in its own class this anime series, easily in my top 3 anime of all time. "i dare you ,dare you, danger boy ...ready for the action now, danger boy..

" the movie remake isnt worth mentioning compared to the original animes,i recommend them all. they cant make stuff like that now even if they tried. and yes ,she IS sexy

theres lots of inuendo in the many different animes, they started out as only about 6 or so 5 minute animes,with no talking. then they made the more well known ones, at about 20 minutes each ,the original shorts are cool as well, worth cheqing out if u like aeon. good description of aeon too btw, she doesnt have an agenda,doesnt care ,and is jsut evil at heart,but in a nice way

-someone will have to shut me up ,cos i love aeon and could talk all day about her/them

nice interpretation image of her, especially the eyes. seems like the MTV website has them avaialbe for free now. last comment : to understand aeon is to understand what only trusting yourself is like. 10/10 great anime MR P CHUNG
